ABOUT ETTO
We build, customise and transform motorcycles with a focus on character, performance and individuality.
ETTO grew out of a passion for racing and modifying motorcycles. I started racing a 1991 Honda CBR600 known as a “Steelie”, before moving on to a Ducati 749 for my second season. This was my first full season of racing, competing in every round of the BMCRC Thunderbike Championship and winning the Rookie Championship.
After stepping away from racing, I launched ETTO in 2016, bringing the same focus on performance, weight and handling into a specialist motorcycle fabrication business.
FROM RACING TO ETTO
My interest in modifying motorcycles really developed through racing. I started competing on a 1991 Honda CBR600, nicknamed “Steelie” because of its steel frame.
For my second season I moved onto a Ducati 749. It was my first full season of racing, competing in every round of the BMCRC Thunderbike Championship, and I went on to win the Rookie Championship. The Thunderbike Championship allowed extensive modification of the motorcycle, provided it retained the silhouette of the original make and model.
That freedom to develop the bike's performance, handling and character became a big part of what drew me to motorcycle fabrication.
THE ETTO APPROACH
For me, building a motorcycle isn't just about how it looks. It's about how it rides.
I love making motorcycles lighter, improving their handling and getting the best from the chassis and suspension.
My approach combines racing experience with traditional fabrication skills, creating practical solutions that work as well on the road as they do on the workshop floor.
I'm particularly drawn to motorcycles from the 1980s and 1990s. These bikes have character, but with thoughtful engineering, weight reduction and careful fabrication, they can be transformed into something genuinely special.

Fabrication Course
This course covers how to cut, bend, shrink and stretch aluminium. Involving shot bag and dollie hammer forming, English wheel techniques. How to mark out and bend tubing for sub-frames & fabricating brackets to battery boxes.
This is a one-day course including all materials and tooling.

This course covers a comprehensive explanation of how the TIG welding process works. The equipment involved and detailed one-on-one coaching to give you the necessary skills to efficiently weld different metals, including thin sheet aluminium (1.5mm thick)
